TransLink Marpole Transit Centre Project Update

Working alongside the design team led by our prime consultant WSP, TWD is supporting project management and overall design coordination on TransLink’s first BEB (battery electric bus) vehicle operations and maintenance facility.
The facility will be the home to 300 battery electric buses and marks a significant step forward in TransLink's proactive approach to addressing climate change and reducing carbon emissions.
TWD’s prime role throughout the project has included:
- Project management and design coordination support
- Mechanical and electrical design for half of the site
- Support the City and provincial permitting processes, tendering, and construction administration
- Consultation and collaboration with First Nations, DFO, Ministry of Forests, and City of Vancouver permitting processes
